Draft Planning Agreement - 48 Campbell Street, Gerringong (Sunnymede)
This Planning Agreement applies to the proposed Urban Release Area and is associated with the Planning Proposal PP-2025-61. Under the Planning Agreement the developer will provide material public benefits including dedication of land, construction of works and monetary contributions.
Background
A Planning Agreement is a voluntary agreement between a planning authority and a developer, under which the developer provides contributions to be used for or applied towards the provision of public infrastructure or another public purpose.
The Planning Agreement applies to the proposed Sunnymede Urban Release Area and will secure public benefit contributions of approximately $7M, including land dedication, works and monetary contributions:
- Delivery of a new access road and bridge crossing to Union Way/Elambra Parade.
- Delivery of a new local park (land dedication and embellishment).
- Riparian corridors (land dedication, maintenance period and a monetary contribution toward ongoing maintenance).
- Monetary contribution towards administration (1.5% of the cost of works).
- Stormwater infrastructure (dedication of land, construction of bioretention basins, 2 year maintenance period).
