The Property and Asset Recycling Strategy is a requirement of the NSW Government Performance Improvement Order and includes actions for our Strategic Improvement Plan.

It will be used to guide how Council property is utilised, optimised and developed, to align with our service delivery. The intent is to use property assets to achieve better community and commercial value.

The strategy considers community, social, cultural and environmental factors in determining the preferred, alternative and least preferred options for each property or asset. It also ensures proceeds from recycling of assets are used to invest in Council infrastructure and assets, with funds held in restricted reserves.
