What’s proposed?
Council is proposing to enter into a licence agreement with The Simple Gift of a Bag for access to one room located within the building known as the North Kiama Neighbourhood Centre, situated on Part Lot 602 DP 878369.
The proposed licence would allow exclusive use of the nominated room for the purposes of community-based sewing workshops, volunteer activities, and storage of equipment associated with the production of post‑mastectomy support bags for breast cancer patients.
The licence is intended to support a not‑for‑profit charitable service delivering community health support and volunteer engagement.

- Term: Five (5) years
- Licence fee as per Council's Fees & Charges
Why are we consulting?
Under Section 47A of the Local Government Act 1993, Council is required to consult with the community before granting a licence over public land classified as Community Land. This consultation ensures the proposed licence aligns with community expectations and supports the inclusive, safe and accessible use of the North Kiama Neighbourhood Centre.
